This is especially annoying when I am trying to print something off the internet because it will not allow me to change the printer and I have to copy whatever I want to print and paste it in word. Also, I always have to switch, for some reason it it set to my old printer as a default and I can not set it to my new printer. I can print from it and everything but it is annoying. When I plug in my laptop to a USB slot on the back of my computer for some reason my computer also recognizes it as a Dell USB Mass Storage USB Device. Is there anything else I can do to speed the computer up? I also defragmented it last week so that is fine.

I use adaware and spybot to keep it spyware free and I have MacAfee to keep it virus free. I check the program list every once in a while and if I don't recognize something I delete it.

I am wondering if this is normal? I try and keep it spyware and virus free. My computer has gotten a lot slower over the years. I had to take out the power supply and I am wondering if there is any way that I can get a power splitter or how I would go about getting more power to my computer so I can have my secondary hard drive plugged in. I unplugged the CD burner as soon as I got the computer and plugged in my secondary hard drive (so the cd burner has sat in the computer for years because I can not use it (no power to it) So I took out the DVD drive and put in a DVD burner which does everything. Origionally the computer came with a CD burner and a DVD drive. Recently I put in a new video card and it required two power outlets so I had to unplug my secondary hard drive. Well ever since then whenever I start the computer I get an error message (Diskette drive 0 seek failure strike the F1 key to continue press F2 to run the setup utility) I am wondering if there is a way I can get this to stop happening? I have a floppy drive on my desktop that broke the first year I had the computer.

How do I figure out what it is and where to get the drivers for it? I am wondering if this is a problem, it says the drivers for this device are not installed. Under my device manager, under other devices, there is a yellow ? with Multimedia Audio Controller next to it. I am just wondering if this is a setting problem (I never changed any settings and I am the only person to use this computer) because a little over a year ago it just started to happen and I have no idea why. The only way I can delete large amounts of text is to highlight it and press the delete button. If I highlight text and start typing it will unselect the highlighted text and it will start typing without having deleted the highlighted text. if I highlight something and press backspace all it will do is unhighlight the text. My problem is that when I am in word and I want to delete a few lines of text quickly I would normally highlight them and either type or press backspace and the text that I had highlighted would be deleted. This is not a problem persay but it annoys me to no end and even after it happening for over a year I still can not get used to it. I use word all day every day since I am a college student I write a lot of papers. I have cleaned out the dust from the computer and other than that I am not sure what else I can possibly do. They only way I can get it to stop is to cool the computer down, either by blowing a fan at it while it is off or just leaving it off for several hours. If I restart the computer right away it just keeps happening again and again. Once this happens I know I have about 15 seconds until the screen gets really liney and starts blinking on and off. Every once in a while like a small box of lines will appear around the mouse. My computer has always run a little hot but over the past few months I think it has been overheading. So I am just putting them all here for now and if I need to break them up then I can do that.ДЇirst off, and this is my BIG problem, I just got a new graphics card about 8 months ago. I was not sure if I should post them in seperate threads or if I should put them all in one thread to keep it simple. I have multiple problems that deal with multiple subjects.
